200 words, every Thursday, about something interesting.
In my job as a journalist and writer I read a lot of interesting stuff. I like interesting stuff and I would like to tell people, “hey, look at this”. Hence this newsletter – 200 words (sometimes a bit less, sometimes a lot more), every Thursday, about something interesting.
The focus is broadly British history and folklore, thinkers, writers and artists, some politicians, some sociology and anthropology. The definition of what I find interesting is anything and everything that teaches me more about the world.
If you’re looking for inspiration or for informative tidbits straight to your inbox, welcome. The newsletter is called Mice Ears. Why? Because I’d like to imagine mice being good at listening and it’s also the Finnish-Swedish word for the first green shoots of leaves on a tree branch in the spring. That’s one of the many things I find interesting.
